Ancestor - Frank Young

Frank's life began in humbled beginnings up in the thumb area of Michigan, in the rural town of Gagetown.  His parents, were French-Canadian immigrants from Quebec.  The Homestead Act of 1865 lured many like his parents to the outer edges of inhabited land, with the promise of 160 acres of land.

Farm families were generally large back then.  He was born in 1879 and was the third child of the seven his parents, John and Lelina Young would have.
