As a young girl growing up in California, Merida Johns would spend her summer days visiting her Grandma and Aunt Pilon in Amherstburg. She remembers the happy times she had when they would visit Ida and Yvonne Gignac at the cottage. We all have memories of the wonderful meals and enchanting conversations we have had with Aunt Yvonne and Aunt Ida.
The Johns now have a Bed & Breakfast Inn located just northwest of Chicago in the cute town of Woodstock. She has named her dining common room after Ida and Yvonne Gignac.
