The dome of the Ursuline Monastery as seen from the waterfront through the garden maintain by the nuns.  The Ursuline sisters arrived in Quebec in 1639 from Tours, France, but were not summoned to Trois-Rivières until 1697.  Their first monastery was  completed in 1700, enlarged and rebuilt after a fire in 1752.  The beautiful dome was completed in 1897.
