Notre-Dame Basilica of Montréal

The parish originally dates back to 1644 at first ministered by the Jesuits and then in 1657 by the Sulpicians.  The present structure was constructed between 1824 - 1829, the towers were completed in 1843 and the interior finished in 1880.
