Tried to obtain the birth certificate in Tuscola County Clerk's office, but the clerk could not find it. It is quite possible the parents never had the birth recorded, as this was an option for parents, birth records were created in 1905.
We were successful in obtaining a marriage license, as they became required in 1867 in Michigan. The marriage was also recorded in the marraige book at St. Agatha's Catholic Church.
Research the county tax rolls for Columbia Township, Tuscola County for the following periods:
1903 Tax Rolls, Tuscola County, Columbia Township found a entry for Frank Youngs, paying taxes on 40 acres N1/2, of S1/2 of SE1/4 Sec 12, Town 14, Range 9 True cash value of Real Property assessed: $700. Paid Jan 8, 1904, total tax bill of $ 6.24. Page 61
1912 Tax Rolls, Tuscola County, Columbia Township: found a entry for Frank Youngs paying taxes on 80 acres, $1,850 assessed value, S1/2 of SE1/4, of Sec 1, Town 14, Range 9. Taxes paid $33.42 on Dec 26, 1912.
1913 Tax Rolls, page 79, Frank Young S1/2 of SE 1/4, Sec 1 Town 14, Range 9, tax paid was $25.90, paid 1/27/1914.
1914 Tax Rolls were searched but we were unable to find a record for Frank Youngs, presumably, the acreage was sold.

Memorial service held at Sacred Heart Church, age 58, for many years a prominent resident of the Dearborn community, who succombed last Friday morning in his home, 4970 Rosalie avenue, the victim of a heart attack.
Having been employed for 23 years by the Ford Motor Company, Mr. Young was preparing to go to his work in the experimental laboratories when he was stricken. To all appearances he had been in vigorous health up to that time.
Following his collapse, police and fireman sped to the home with an inhalator, but the family physician, who had also responded to the emergency call, pronounced life extinct.
A native of Gagetown, Mich, Mr. Young brought his family to Dearborn in 1911. His wife, Margaret, and a son, Roy, preceded him in death several yers ago. Surviving are seven children: Mrs. Harry A. Buckenberger, of Hazel Park: Mrs. Howard Packard, Mrs. Geraldine Orr, Miss Bernice Young.
The other obituary also listed as survivors: three sons, James, Harold and Verne, the motherof Mr. Young, and three sisters: Sister D'Epaza, of the Dominican Order, Mrs. Emma Howell of Detroit, and Mrs. Frank Elk of Marchall. Cause of death: heart attack.
