  General Notes:

Studied bookeeping in high school and then moved to Detroit to obtain work as a bookeeper. After the depression, he worked for the Flint Ink Company and rose to become the manager of the accounting department.

  Noted events in his life were:

• Name Change. Prentiss changed the spelling back to Danish original "sen" from "son". He went by the nickname "Bert" not Prentiss though after leaving the family home in Bear Lake, Michigan. Only his family and hometown friends called him by his given name.

Prentiss married Ethel Belle BEYMER, daughter of Charles Edward BEYMER and Caroline Louise GREGORY, on 17 Feb 1917 in Detroit, MI. (Ethel Belle BEYMER was born on 23 Apr 1890 in Detroit, MI, died on 24 Oct 1965 in Detroit, MI and was buried on 24 Oct 1965 in Acacia Park Cementary, Southfield, MI.)
