Palace Entrance - Apeldoorn, Holland NL
Our first day in Europe included a visit to the summer palace of the Royal Family of the Netherlands from 1686 to 1975. Restoration of some of William and Mary's gardens reveal the precise design of 17th century Dutch gardening. Our arrival on a Sunday proved to be a popular touring day for the local Dutch as well -- a nice polite group.
