We spent our first 5 nights on the Greek island of Rhodes.  Great weather, nice beaches, charming Old Town, and day trips to Lindos and Symi made for a great start to our vacation.  Rhodes has a beautiful harbor and great shopping -- especially for leather goods. It is also a popular stop for cruise ships which sail the Greek islands.
